I ate here for the first time today. I'm so glad! The guys working today were really friendly and helpful, the pizza came out really quickly, and a large meat pizza was only $15. You order at the counter and seat yourself, picking up plates, etc. on the way. I'm sure this helps keep costs down. No problem. The pizza crust was thin and crispy, the sauce was good. The amount of toppings was huge and delicious. They cut the pizza in squares, which is nice for sharing and to keep me from eating too much. Now I'm home, having leftovers for dinner, so I microwaved them to see what would happen. Tastes almost exactly the same as when it was fresh out of the oven. Just the crust is slightly less crispy, but it still held up to all those toppings!

Went here after checking yelp reviews of bc pizza spots. Hand tossed goodness. Reminds me of the old school places I went as a kid. They have garlic powder shakers on the table. I'd go again if I was in bc over a chain spot any day. They pile on the cheese and I took another reviews recommendation and ordered crispy crust, good call.

Decided to revisit Sir Pizza and see this new location they're at. Also to see if they've improved upon what they served last time I was there. I ordered the Sausage and Mushroom again and to their credit, this pizza came out fast well within 10 minutes. A large 14" Sausage and Mushroom only set me back about $12.25. The dining room is cleaner and brighter than their old location and there are a few video games to entertain the kids and keep them from gouging each others eye's out with forks. Also, they've started taking credit cards which makes things easier for me. Negative, no beer. Plus the pizza really doesn't suit my taste. Sauce is sweet, meat is crumbly rather than sausage balls, hardly any mushrooms. Cheese is adequate though and the crust is actually pretty well done, thin and crispy. This place has a following so there's always some activity here. This pizza is inexpensive, and appeals to a lot of folks in the area. So don't let me stop you, Sir Pizza serves a certain niche and serves it well. I just don't find it terribly appealing.

This was my very first pizza place I ate at in Battle Creek. It is very different from other styles of pizza, and I have found that people either love it or hate it. I enjoy the pizza, but sometimes it is a little more heavy that I like. It is a square pizza, which is fun and different. They closed the location right near my home, and moved to another part of town. I have not been to the new one since the move. I will never turn down a Sir Pizza, so I guess I am a fan.

I liked the thin crust but that was about it. The small cubed pepperoni, sauce or cheese had nothing special to add. We ate inside where there is no wait service. A pop machine for you to get your own beverages. A few old style video games to play whiles you wait. Seating and restrooms were clean.

Good stuff! The "Deluxe" is my favorite pizza in this town. Grew up here eating at the Capital ave/Wabash st location. Moved to Utah 30 years ago and always stop here at least once when visiting family in Battle Creek. Try it! Pretty darn good!

Been almost a year since I'd been here but nothing has changed. Ordered the spaghetti meal with a slice of pepperoni pizza for the side. Took a LONG time to arrive. Pizza was red hot and spaghetti was stone cold. So apparently they dished the spaghetti out immediately and it sat there waiting for the pizza. No wonder there is never anyone at this place.

Pizza sauce and toppings are good. They put their toppings all the way to the edge and do a non-traditional cut, i.e. not pie slices. Crust bottom is crispy and nice but if you're looking for a chewy crust edge, this isn't it. We enjoyed the pizza; breadsticks just ok. Would revisit if in the area.

Had BBQ chicken cheddar and a sausage onion green pepper. Both ok. Football games on TV.

Love Sir Pizza! Grew up with it just down the road from my childhood home on the Northside. Love their new bigger building, although I think they changed something with the pizza. They say they haven't but it sure doesn't taste like it did the last time I had one just before they moved - having said that it doesn't really matter because it still rocks!!! Love SIR PIZZA!

The NEW Sir Pizza location on Columbia Ave/Vale St.. is owned by the same people who have owned it for years (on SW Capitol Ave.)! It's still good! The only thing different is that they don't shake oregano over the pizza before baking. It's now in the "sauce", but I think they should add MORE! Don't be fooled by the "Sir Pizza" on Territorial Rd. It's not a true Sir Pizza, but rather a "Pizza King", regardless of the signage. Pizza is FAST! 10-15 min., order "to go" based on that if you want a hot one. Even though I worked at Pizza Hut for a few years, Sir Pizza has always been my Pizza of choice. When I order, I always order "light sauce" because there does to seem to be an excess of sauce. But, order to your taste, they accommodate! So if you are in BC and want pizza, order Sir Pizza first, but if you are a fan of Pizza Hut, go for it. Forget Domino's, and the rest. These are the 2 best pizza places in Battle Creek!

Sir Pizza is the best! Jeffery S. don't let me catch you in the Creek again, your Creek pass has been officially revoked. Everyone do yourself a favor and request crispy crust.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
